Auntie Jean’s Fudge

Auntie Jean has been baking most of her life. She grew up on a family dairy farm in central Alberta. As the eldest daughter in a household of 10, she learned early on to make large quantities of food!

Jean’s first experience with fudge was watching her granny make it on the wood-burning stove. 40 odd years later, the basic ingredients are the same (sugar,cream,butter), but granny would be shocked by some of the variations! Varieties such as Maple Bacon,Funky Monkey and Pumpkin pie are best sellers. Auntie Jean is supported and assisted by Uncle Barry, a talented woodworker, who is long retired (so he thought!) and able to speak at length on most any subject.
