124 Grand Market Concludes Season with Harvest Celebrations
The 124 Grand Market will conclude its successful second season run on October 10th with a Harvest celebration market complete with spooky surprises to kick off Thanksgiving and Halloween season!
Join us Thursday October 10th during regular market hours, 4-8pm, on 124th Street and 108 Avenue, for all your favorite 124 Grand Market vendors and some spooktacular family-friendly activities!
The Market will be stocked full of vendors ready to fill your bags and baskets with holiday weekend provisions and special treats! Riverbend Gardens and Sparrow’s Nest Organics will be on hand with pumpkins, squashes and holiday produce while some of the city’s most popular food trucks offer up delectable dinner options.
In addition to all the regular 124 Grand Market fun, we will be hosting a pumpkin carving contest, awarding a fantastic 124 Grand Market gift basket worth over $100 to the winner! Purchase your pumpkins from Riverbend Gardens and show off your artistic skills in our carving tent! The competition will be open from 4-7pm with the winner announced at 7:30!
124th Street business Atomic Zombie will be on hand to guide guests through an exploration of oddities and ghoulish curiosities at their booth, while fire dancers and magicians capture your imagination. DJ Sonny Grimez will also be spinning catchy beats to keep the chill away. While you shop, you may stumble into a flash mob of dancing zombies, presented by Rigor Productions (www.rigorproductions.com). Rigor’s zombie group spectacle raises money for four worthy Edmonton charities, so come down and join the fun!
