Glasses Half Full

Glasses Half Full is a new local eye-glass and eye-care provider that works exclusively with independent eye-wear makers. Glasses Half Full is all about helping the little guys, whether it’s by stocking independently made glasses, providing super competitive prices, or even simply showing a care for someone’s eye health. Glasses Half Full will surprise you when you approach them for your next eye-test or pair of glasses. They thoroughly check your eyes which is something not all optometrists do, unfortunately. When you see them in their storefront, you’re greeted by warm smiles! Booking an appointment with them is also super easy, you either do it online or in store and sometimes they can even take you in, that very day.  They always help you find not only the best glasses for your buck but also the ones that look the best on you! What’s super special about Glasses Half Full is that they don’t stock your typical brands like Ray-Ban or Ralph Lauren, they stock unique, handmade pieces from around the world and yet they’re still able to offer you affordable pricing. Knowing this, you’ll be leaving Glasses Half Full with a totally unique look. Come and see them at the market this Thursday and find out for yourself!

Golden Hour Floral

Golden Hour Floral is a special flower provider for our market. If you’ve noticed, in most of our product shots throughout the season, there have been flowers intermingled with the various products from our various vendors. These flowers were courtesy of Golden Hour Floral. We are so thankful that they were able to give us such beautiful flowers to help liven up our product photography, they deserve a lot of credit. The flowers are locally grown in Leduc, Alberta, by Kari Pedersen. This summer has been a strange one for weather and this has given Kari a bit of a harder time growing them; however, she and her flowers have persevered and they’ve made it to their final market of the season. If you are looking for an incredible bouquet for a special someone, or just some flowers to help liven up your home, come to tomorrow night’s market and check out Kari and Golden Hour Floral. It’s your last chance!

Joos-03

Joos

Joos, is a local super-food company which creates powerful blends of specialized ingredients that can enhance both your mental and your physical well-being. The goal of Joos is to offer highly nutritious super-foods in a super convenient way, in powder form! Like many of the vendors at the 124 Grand Market, Joos was born out of necessity. When the owner, Gabriela Touma, didn’t understand why she wasn’t feeling 100%, and she learnt about how super-foods could help her, she took it into her own hands to help not only herself but the people of Edmonton as well. As the super-food phenomenon has only recently started to grow in Edmonton, Joos has quickly become a leader in that regard. By offering a product that is easy to consume and easy to add to your everyday life, Joos has provided a well-needed super-product to the city of Edmonton. If you’re in need for some super-food that will genuinely make your life better, stop by the 124 Grand Market tomorrow evening and checkout Joos.
