If you missed the IN PERSON Orientation in April you have access to the Shared Vendor Resource folder via Google Drive. This was sent out upon your approval and is reshared in our Vendor Vine each week. Please forward to your staff!

Vendor Orientation documents will live in the Vendor Orientation drive and be updated no less than 2 weeks prior to any event. THIS INCLUDES NIGHT MARKETS, SPECIAL EVENTS AND GRAND MARKETS. IT’S IMPERATIVE YOU READ THESE AS WE WILL NOT BE ANSWERING QUESTIONS REGARDING ORIENTATION VIA EMAIL. :)

Your deposit must be paid in order to have your application considered. Credit card will be accepted upon application, however, contact us for additional options. Payments on confirmed dates must be made within 15 business days of receiving your invoice to secure your approved application.

Of course! But we are also a small business. Payment arrangement requests must be made within 5 business days of your approved invoice and a PAD agreement must be held on file to be active.

If you would like to ADD dates after your application is submitted and/or approved, you can request additional dates by contacting our Markets team. Note that additions may take 5-10 business days to process. Additional admin fees may be charged at the discretion of the Market Director.

Grand Markets Edmonton curates each market based on vendor type, quality, and availability. Application of dates does not guarantee acceptance and you may not be accepted for all the dates you have requested. Please check your dates on your invoice to double check your schedule! If you were waitlist, you will be contacted as soon as a spot opens up.

If you are DECLINED for all market dates, you will receive a refund for your deposit less the $10 admin fee. This will vary depending on which application you have on file.

YES. We do not offer rentals or infrastructure unless expressly stated in the application.

Due to limited storage space, we cannot provide any tent, weight, spigot, table or chair rentals for ANY market dates this season.

You will be responsible for bringing any and all furniture/equipment needed. Vendors will NOT be allowed to set up at the Market without a fire rated tent and 4 40+ lbs weights. All vendors must be set up 15 minutes prior to market opening.

There is no power, no wifi. Most Vendors get by just fine; if you need power you may bring a generator however this MUST be approved by the market team and must be in writing. Generators must adhere to strict sound specifications like a Honda Quiet Pack Generator or electrical generator.

As per the Vendor Terms of Service, once approved all dates are final. If a cancellation for a date is required, it must be done within 72 H of the vending date in order to be exempt from any late fees. Cancellations done within 12 H of an event or a no -show are subject to an additional $25 fee. Subleases are strictly prohibited.

If you have outstanding invoices on file, it MAY impact your ability to set up for your market.

Please review all of our Alberta Health Services protocols CAREFULLY when applying to our markets! You must send us a copy of a valid Food Handling Permit along with your application; safe food handling certificates are not applicable.

Our flagship 124 Grand Market locations operate as Public Markets which means ALL food Vendors must prepare their products at commercial facilities and food must be pre-packaged. Food trucks and concession stalls must be pre-approved by Alberta Health Services.

Grand Night Markets operate as Special Events which means low risk home cooks MAY be accepted; however vendors are still subject to vetting by our Market Team.

Vendors MUST be in contact with our Alberta Health Services Inspector prior to being permitted to set up at the market.

You may be asked to provide more details on your food service and preparation.

Our membership fee is a one time fee that is charged annually to all vendors who participate in our events whether you participate in one or fifty.

This membership fee is mandatory. If you are accidentally double charged for this on your invoice please let us know!

• Night Markets operate as Special Events. All vendors selling open and/or prepackaged food must fill out a notification at least 14 days prior to the event

• Province of Alberta Food Regulation 31/2006 (Alberta King's Printer:).

• Mobile Vendors (Food truck, mobile cart, etc.) Add the business name & decal numbers (CGY-###, EDM-###, etc.) to the Event Organizer Notification. If the mobile is operating differently than its original approval, such as adding equipment outside the mobile, or hooking up to a water supply, then a vendor notification is required.

• Low Risk Home Prepared Food Vendor (this vendor must only be making low risk food and must be making it out of their unpermitted home kitchen) and Liquor Vendors (Low-risk home-prepared foods | Alberta.ca).

Yes! Our Markets allow tattooers and barber services.

• Temporary Personal Services (Vendor) Notification forms must be submitted by all Personal Service Vendors attending your event. TPS Vendor Notification
